A Company Built in the Cloud: a cloud business case study

Speaker: Marc Huynen - Neudesic Level: 100
Details...

EveryPenny was built from the ground up to run in the cloud, specifically Microsoft’s Azure, allowing us to take advantage of the scalability and availability, while paying for what we use when we need it. By using the Azure infrastructure we were able to build a highly scalable multi-tenant application that allows us to rapidly add new schools to EveryPenny for a few dollars per year. As our user base grows, we can easily add new web servers to meet the demand without making a capital investment. Using Neudesic’s extensive experience with new technologies, EveryPenny was designed for SaaS and requires no software to be downloaded to the schools computers providing them with an easy path to adopt EveryPenny. As a multi-tenant application we can support many schools on the same server, while isolating their data so that information is not shared inappropriately.
